Barbequed Pork Fingers Recipe
Barbequed Pork Fingers are just mouth watering finger licking great! This recipe I’ve used so many times over the years for all different occasions whether it be a banquet, family party or just for dinner!
Preparation: This recipe may be prepared the night before if cooled and stored in the refrigerator as the flavour really seeps into the pork fingers!
Ingredients
750grams approx pork fingers (strips)
1 pkt brown onion sauce
¼ cup water
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon root ginger, finely chopped
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 tablespoons malt vinegar
Pinch chilli powder (optional)
Method:
Cover the pork fingers with water in a large saucepan and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Drain and place in a shallow ovenware dish.
Whisk all the above sauce ingredients together in a small saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Pour the sauce over the barbequed pork fingers, marinate for at least 2 hours turning occasionally.
Bake at 190oC or 170oC fan forced for 45 – 60 minutes or until pork is tender, basting frequently.
Serves 4.
